You can read more about HPA on their website https://hpamembers.com/…
My first car was a 1984 Honda Accord. You could probably find one today for $1,000. And then there's a Lamborghini Veneno. Price is $4 million. Both of these cars could get you to the store and back, right? So if they do basically the same thing , why on earth would someone pay an extra $3,999,000? The answer to that question gives us insight into every bariatric clinic on the planet. What makes patients choose you? There are a few potential reasons. But there's only one that matters most of all. Emotion…

Your bariatric website should function like a full time 24/7 salesperson who never sleeps (and doesn't leave their tuna and rye in the break room fridge to get stale and moldy). Jonah sits down with Loryn Lyle, founder of SILVR Agency, and talks about the questions every clinic should ask about their website's performance.…

Plenty of clinics have considered throwing a big party for all of their post op patients. In this episode, Dr. Bilof talks about hosting an annual Celebration where they will have 500 to 600 people show up. About Dr. Bilof: Dr. Bilof began his career as a vascular surgeon where he continuously saw chronically ill patients suffering from type 2 diabetes and other medical problems often seen in bariatric patients (high blood pressure, heart disease etc.). As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Bilof was frustrated by his inability to truly alter the course of these disease processes. When he found out that bariatric surgery could literally reverse diabetes (getting patients off insulin and other diabetic medications) he knew he had found his calling. If we can ‘cure’ diabetes, then patients won’t develop the chronic and debilitating vascular problems in the first place! The ultimate preventive medicine! In 2003, upon the urging of his wife, Dr. Bilof left his successful vascular practice and retrained in bariatrics, something unheard of at the time and even today. In April 2007, he founded his own practice,…
