A moral decline has taken root in thinking of the African-American community. History has shown repeatedly that a moral decline in man leads to intellectual decline, and intellectual decline leads to ignorance (darkness) and conjecture. When darkness falls upon the face of the deep, men who strive for moral and intellectual balance are obligated to pursue efforts to bring reason and rational out of ignorance (darkness) and conjecture. This pattern necessitates that for the healthy survival of the human species, man should follow a certain path (direction) of social and human development that is best compatible with the “genetic stuff” contained in the human DNA. The scientific reasoning process that man has learned from studying the signs (science) of our material reality should be convincing enough to compel men to follow this predetermined path, for “truth” stands out clearly from nonscientific paradigms (error) of human thought. Yet time has proven that Natural Law is not enough to restrict man from deviating from the intended path that leads to freedom, liberty, and justice for all humanity.
