In this mini episode of Art Intervention, we celebrate the work of Japanese-Canadian artist Toshiko MacAdam. MacAdam is a textile artist and educator, working in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada (Mi'kma'ki which the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people). MacAdam is widely know for her creation of massive and complex knit and crocheted structures. These interactive installations, or textile playgrounds, are aimed at children and all are encouraged to engage with these gorgeous creations.
