Psalm 34 tells us that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted." In 2 Corinthians 1 Paul describes God as the compassionate Father and the God of all comfort. When we find ourselves brokenhearted, there is an invitation to be comforted by God who is close to us in these situations.North Site による
