Dharma Seed is dedicated to preserving and sharing the spoken teachings of Theravada Buddhism in modern languages. Since the early 1980's, Dharma Seed has collected and distributed dharma talks by teachers offering the vipassana (insight) and metta (lovingkindness) practices of Theravada Buddhism. New recordings are being added continuously from contemporary dharma teachers.
 
The Upaya Dharma Podcast features Wednesday evening Dharma Talks and recordings from Upaya’s diverse array of programs. Konrad Kosan Maquestieau is zenleraar en verantwoordelijk van de zendojo van Halle. Hij beoefent de zenmeditatie sinds 1990. Hij is leerling van de Franse meester Roland Yuno Rech. In 2015 kreeg hij van zijn leraar de dharmaoverdracht die van hem een traditioneel gecertificeerd leraar maakt. Kosan is tevens erkend door de Japanse Soto-school. In het burgerleven is Konrad leraar audiovisuele vorming aan de!Kunsthumaniora in Antwerpen. Hij is getrouwd met Annemie Genshin Van Attenhoven.

The Aloka Vihara sisters are a community of bhikkhunis (fully-ordained nuns) and samaneris (novices) dedicated to practicing the Buddha’s teaching in the style of the Theravada Forest Tradition. Their practice emphasizes simplicity, renunciation, service and an orientation towards learning from the natural world, all held within the context of the Buddha’s teachings. The sisters are committed to embracing and integrating the realities and challenges of contemporary society into their practice.
 
A pervasive but often invisible source of suffering in our culture is self-aversion. We are a busy culture, and we move through our life feeling anxious and dissatisfied, but not fully conscious of how we neglect or judge our inner experience.
