These two guests are inspirational and a lot of fun. Reana and Alex Kaminsky were high-level college athletes who after graduation got deeply entrenched in the working world, and long hours here, traveling there, grabbing fast food meals here, not making time to exercise there, and next thing you know, each one had gained more than 120 pounds. Once they recognized back in 2019 the toxic effects all of these factors were having on their lives, these inseparable sisters decided to attack these problems. They got back into the gym, reformed their diets, found better balance in their lives, and dropped the weight. They documented their journey on YouTube and other social media, and suddenly attracted a following that eventually led to Eating Well and Women’s Health magazines to write feature articles on them and landed them on The Doctors TV show. This opportunity to inspire others birthed their company called Get Real, with Real an amalgamation of their first names, Re and Al. In addition to highlighting their transformation stories to help others to do the same, they hope the company’s merchandise can serve as a daily reminder that real change comes from consistent action.
