Is American Airlines the worst airline? A honest review of American Airlines.

When it comes to the legacy air carriers in the United States, we are down to three which are Delta, United, and yes American. While these so-called legacy carriers still carry a majority of the passengers, there is many airlines today that compete against the legacy carriers including Ultra Low Cost Carriers such as Spirt, Allegiant, and Frontier, and the hybrid carriers such as Jet Blue and Southwest.
Despite having flow hundreds of thousands of miles over a lifetime until 2020 I never actually flew American Airlines. However, today I live by an airport that is served by only one airline and it is American through their wholly-owned subsidiary regional carrier Envoy Air. So recently I have taken a few flights on American and will give you an honest review of how I feel about them and will issue them a grade. Will American Airlines be able to make the grade or will it flunk?
When we review an airline we look at how it compares to its competitors and what the expectations are for that airline. Your expectations are different if you're flying an airline such as Spirit than if you flying say a premium Asian carrier such as Singapore or a middle eastern carrier such as Emirates.
On most of our airline reviews, we will review the website, customer service phone center if we need to call them, policies, check-in, airport customer service, flight attendants, the seats, and any other service or amenity.
