Construction has been notoriously known for being a male-dominated industry with fewer opportunities for women and minorities to thrive. However, that is all changing as minority-owned construction businesses continue to emerge and gain a presence in the market, and larger companies are recognizing the value in diversity and inclusion.
Jennifer Todd is the perfect example of this. The youngest Black woman to receive California’s CSLB (A) General Engineering license, she serves as LMS General Contractors founder and president. She heads the company’s management team and is responsible for developing and executing LMS’s strategic growth.
