This episode is out of some kind of parallel world where Cory takes over as the lead host and Nick is his ever supportive cohost. We thought it might be a nice change of pace to let Cory take the lead on planning an episode for a change, and while he wanted to do something completely weird and crazy, the formula ended up looking pretty similar to a normal episode, with just a bit more weird banter thrown in. First up we talk about the potential for Sony to buy Crunchyroll, and after that Cory tells you about two of his favorite shows this season and why he just thinks they're neat. And at the very end as a special treat Cory and Nick reflect on a particularly awkward story from Cory's trip to Japan a few years ago.
