In this episode, I'm talking with Philip Webb who is the founder and MD of Investors in Community, a blockchain digital platform that enables businesses and individuals to donate, volunteer and gift to charity and community initiatives that matter to you.
Primarily, it gives a platform for smaller local charities to be noticed.
The platform is unique in that they generate Community Credits for every donor user, which enables corporates to provide comparisons, benchmarking and rewards for acts of giving. As everything can be tracked, it makes it a much more robust way of reporting, monitoring and incentivising corporate social responsibility.
For the individual giver, it allows you to give to the charity of your choice - safe in the knowledge that are no extra costs to be added and that every £ you give, gets to where it should.
