#040 Millennials vs Gen Z: How We View Money And Why It's So Different
Manage episode 298002919 series 2813671
We are all shaped by forces around us which is why every generation has different tendencies than the other. Today, we will compare Millennials and Gen Z to understand how they think about money and jobs.
Millennials have paved the way for the digital world we live in now but Gen Z has grown up in it and know nothing else. This gives us different perspectives on it that both have wisdom and cautionary tales to learn from.
Gen Z is just full of people that are finishing high school and college (if they chose to go) and are now entering the workforce. They will continue to challenge some of the longstanding norms Millennials are battling such as the 9-5 workday, having to always go into an office, and needing a college degree to apply for a job that has nothing to do with a college degree.
While the generations differ in many areas, we are closely linked as we brave into this new digital world. Take some humble pie and learn from each other in order to best adapt to the new world we are building.
