I hope y'all had a fantastic Labor Day weekend last week! Welcome to the #ShareYourHotness Podcast episode 25!
My friend Eliza is a survivor of the most admirable kind. She's the sort of person we can all learn from.
Her ex-husband was poopy. Notice my usage of past-tense: was. Yeah, he's no longer with us. I'm not one to usually speak ill of the dead, but when you hear Eliza's story about her life with him, I think you'll agree that when she says she hates him, that is actually a healthy place to be.
Stick with me here listener, because, as you know, I like to get real, and it doesn't get more real than this conversation.
Eliza reminds us that, even in the face of awful consequences, we still have the freedom of choice; we still have #FreeAgency. We are still empowered to choose how we respond to a situation. Are we going to be the victim, or are we going to work to rise above?
