Episode 17: Spread Eagle -- in this 1st of two episodes, Profs Court and Matt profile NYC quartet Spread Eagle. The story of this gritty, talented and criminally under-rated band is a tale of hard work, determination, timing, tenacity and patience. A product of the changing hard-rock and metal scene in the early 90s, Spread Eagle were one of the hardest working bands in the business at that time. After 2 highly acclaimed albums the band split due to the emergence of grunge and myriad other factors, much to the chagrin of their growing legion of fans. Thankfully, the band is resurrected and going stronger than ever in 2021. Their 2019 album "Subway to the Stars" is a return to form, yet they have elevated their music to new levels. With yet another album in the works, Spread Eagle returns to claim their rightful place as one of the best hard rock acts in the industry today.
