Have you ever wondered if you have to obtain a degree to be successful? Newsflash, you don't. If your passion and career depends on that degree then by all means go and get. However, CEO of R&T Real Estate and author John Thompson joins us this week as our unsung hero to discuss his life and his unorthodox way of obtaining success. P.S. he did all of it without a degree. John owns multiple businesses; including a house flipping one, a car wash and a self storage. He is also an author who has written two novels under the name of J Grant Thompson. All of these achievements came later in life, in what he would call a mid life awakening; proving you can find successes in all steps of life. Make sure to listen this week as we talk about the pros and cons of self publishing, being a realist, and flipping houses. We also talk about sports, life, the importance of therapy, and discovering financial freedom. John describes himself as an imperfect man, who is always trying to change. He's intuitive and a free thinker, stereotypes do not hold him back; as he is always a man trying to learn and gain different perspectives. Whether you are just trying to figure out life or are trying to find that next step in it; John provides you with some knowledge for you to take into account.
