Kay believes a company’s greatest asset is its people, and she specializes in helping business owners make sure they have the right people in the right positions. Having healthy, happy and productive employees who are engaged in work that is a strong match to their skills, abilities and passion enables you to grow your business while having a life; Kay can work with you in multiple ways: to clarify your vision, mission and organizational structure, as well as to craft targeted job descriptions, effective hiring practices, efficient onboarding processes and valuable employee development plans so you can build a highly effective and productive team.
Kay wants to leave behind a legacy of meeting people where they are, helping them fully understand what their purpose and passion are and assisting them in fulfilling that purpose and passion through their work and career path.
Kay earned Master’s degrees in Psychology and Strategic HR Management from the University of Richmond. She has served on the board of directors for Safe Harbor, an organization that works to break the cycle of domestic violence, as well as on the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
A native Floridian, Kay has lived in Richmond, Virginia, for more than 40 years. She enjoys reading, gardening, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, going to the movies and spending time with her grandchildren.
