Traditionally, the AI and Machine Learning sectors have been a male-dominated industry. Findings from the 2020 World Economic Forum report state that women make up only 26 percent of data and AI positions in the workforce. Yet, 66 percent of respondents in Deloitte’s The State of Women in AI survey reported that having more women working within an organisation can only benefit a business and increase success. Ronan talks to Maeve Bleahene, Co-founder and Head of Operations at Peroptyx about this and more.

Maeve talks about her background, what drove her to become an entrepreneur, what does Peroptyx does, and how to get more women to enter the AI and Machine Learning workforce.
