Welcome back entrepreneurs! Today we meet Yoann Dorat, lifelong entrepreneur and founder of Ellipsis Investments who started his career in France. If you want to know all of the ways in which real estate is transacted differently in France, Yoann is your guy! One great example is the fact that it is not legal to assign a contract (wholesale) in France. In an amazing stroke of irony, that is precisely what Yoann became famous for after moving to the United States - wholesaling! Yoann is an expert not only in wholesaling and finding off-market properties and flipping. He has since added multifamily real estate to the mix and expects to focus more on that asset class in the future. Ellipsis Investments currently operates in 20 markets throughout the US.
