Manage episode 303620273 series 2893589
In this episode I talk to Ed, a youth ambassador for the anti-bullying charity; Bulliesout.
Ed talks about how having autism and being different led them to suffer severe bullying throughout their school life. We discuss how the stereotypes around autism and lack of support from teachers were really harmful to their school life. Tune in to be inspired :)
The Foghorn Podcast is where I speak to teens and young adults about how they overcame a challenge in their life, whether that be in education, anxiety or upbringing. My interviewees share what helped them and, looking back, what could have helped them at the time - giving advice to hopefully help teenagers in similar situations now.
