What's up, Browns fans! What's left of the Browns will be facing the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football this week. The injuries have piled up beyond measure, but good teams in the NFL find ways to overcome and elevate their backups and depth pieces to solid performances when needed. And we look for the Browns to make a statement in a primetime spot. At the time of this recording, we still don't know if Baker Mayfield or Case Keenum will be starting this game. Baker is scheduled to have a follow-up MRI, so we're still waiting to hear the results. But one thing's for sure--if his shoulder is ok, Baker will be out there fighting for his team. We need D'Ernest Johnson to carry much of the load on offense, but most importantly our defense needs to step up and dominate this game to help out our depleted offense. No more excuses for this defense. We have studs all across the defensive roster. The coaching, play calling and scheming need to improve in a big way.
