Penn State football took a major step forward on Saturday with a 41-12 blowout of SEC foe Auburn. The Nittany Lions went into halftime up 14-6, but put on the jets in the third quarter, scoring 17 points, thanks to two explosive runs for freshman superstar Nicholas Singleton. The Nittany Lions offensive line was the star of the day beyond Singleton. Penn State ran for 249 yards in the game.
