Darren is back from his Christmas/New Year blow-out so we headed down to Salero Tapas restaurant in the Kempinski MOE for a much deserved cold one and a chat with their new resident DJ, DJ Merakii.
Hailing from the Philippines but with some Spanish heritage in her routes, we speak about her relatively short DJ career so far but also how she's finding her feet with her unique and varied residencies across a number of venues in Dubai during the "Covid era".
Unfortunately we were pushed on time so it is a relatively short interview, however we end with a solid half hour mix of DJ Merakii's smooth deep vibes she put together a couple of weeks ago.
