There's a big difference between knowing about someone and actually knowing them -- this is true with everyone you meet, and it's true with God as well. Thankfully, we can come to actually know God through prayer, and a prayer-centered life is one that's being drawn closer to Him with every passing moment. Scriptures: 2 Chronicles 6:20-21 and James 5:13-18.
