The Proof of Regret song comes together, and it is presented here as words and musical interpretation.
Guilt and Regret lead us to Redemption. I learn from Neil Peart that the final phase of repairing or cleansing our souls after life, or indeed allowing trapped souls to finally leave the Earth realm - is redemption. This is not just a religious concept, but an essential part of the development of the soul. Only once we have experienced Regret and Grief many times and learned the meaning and how to positively overcome any negative effects on our soul can we progress.
Neil channels more sounds and poetry to help us better understand what cannot be seen by human eyes, or heard with our ears.

This is the place you cannot see

These are the thoughts that make me -me

Hiding in plain sight, please look into my dreams

Share them with others, show them, make them clean.

Have I not done enough in last life's journey

To undo all I did and prove I can be worthy?

There are many here who need eternal peace

Some time for reflection, some time for release.

It may take lifetimes before lessons are learned

Living adventures for the Karma thats earned.

Looking around this vastness of hope

I know once I am here I can untie that rope.

That knot had bound me up and pushed me down

Some sloping roads, downwards that made me drown

In grief, guilt, filled with such threat

Frequently stuck in a cycle of regret

Some are left behind unwilling to pass

They need some help to join his class

Here I can forgive my soul- life can have many more days

Until I feel healed after trying new ways.

Together we learn, together we choose

The things we should learn and the things we must lose.

Redemption is final and the old life turns black.

We are free to move upwards and never look back.
