Yay! This is our first episode of Season Two, and our special guest is Dixie Denier!
Dixie Denier is a southern belle who shimmied her way over to St. Louis, MO to further her burlesque career. Studying under Lola Van Ella, Jeez Loueez, and Greta Garter at Van Ella Studios, she made her debut in 2014. Known as the “Vintage Vixen, you wanna stick your DIX in" she is a member of The Bon Bons Burlesque troupe in St. Louis, a well established troupe offering a variety of classic and neo styles of burlesque. Dixie offers the charm and grace of a vintage style pinup, with a sprinkling of comedy and even nerdlesque into her acts. She is the 2018 Shimmy Showdown Competition Champion, and headlined at the Show Me Burlesque festival. Dixie has appeared in the Kansas City Burlesque Festival, Show-Me Burlesque Festival and the Freezing Tassels Burlesque Festival in Anchorage, AK. She is also a local producer and emcee of burlesque and feels at home with a microphone in her hand. When not dancing, She can been seen on several stages as an accomplished and award winning actress and singer, and has also graced the covers and pages of several pinup magazines. Dixie also travels the country as a vintage chanteuse, performing WWII era music at reenactments and for many veterans of the greatest generation.31 つのエピソード
