It all started when one group wanted to remove the town's Civil War statue and showed up to protest. The other group, the Son’s of Confederacy, showed up to defend the statue. If you haven’t listened to Part 1, episode #19 you'll want to go back and listen. Kim and her husband were a big part of stopping the violence that could have happened because one side was willing to go there. In this episode we talk about the aftermath of that event and how the story just keeps getting better.
