Harrison Butker said a lot of great things in his speech. Got got a lot wrong too. But it’s honestly great seeing the Left straw man and attack basic obvious truths. Harrison never said that women can’t have jobs or shouldn’t have careers. He merely said that being a homemaker is an incredibly valuable profession. Which is true.
💥 Here’s why this is blowing up 💥 If a theologian gave this speech to this Catholic school, the Left wouldn’t bat an eye. But my theory about why this is blowing up, is because football (and sports in general) is 100% an idol for secular America. We don’t like it when our sacred spaces are profaned. And when truth sets foot near the sacred space of football, the claws come out.
If only Christians were so vehement about keeping sin out of our own sacred spaces.
