Is the caravan industry taking accessibility seriously? Is it adequately considering the needs of people that require accessibility? Is this an opportunity to attract more people to caravanning and camping?
In this episode, I speak to the young couple behind the website, AdventureWheels.co.uk - Stephen Wills and Karla Baker - who have adapted their caravan to cater for Karla's wheelchair.
Caravanning has enabled them to explore the UK and Euope safe in the knowledge that taking their own accommodation with them means Karla's needs are catered for. It's also enabled Karla to develop a writing career with her website, blogs and travel articles for magazines in the caravan and accessibility sectors.
