Manage episode 275014389 series 2809078
On Wednesday, 21 October 2020, the Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX) hosted the first of four weekly forums running between 21 October and 11 November 2020. This series presents and interprets current scientific information on COVID-19 in the context of venue operations. This information is presented by the IIFX medical team, composed of public health, professional sports physicians, health industry and medical professionals, and industry thought leaders, and practitioners.
The series is designed to help venue owners, event planners, event managers, fans, parents, and anyone with an interest in returning to work, play, and spectate, to cut through the noise and develop actionable plans to restore business operations and build resilience to future shocks.
This first session in the Coronavirus Playbook series begins October 21st — Youth Sports-What Is The Medical Risk for Returning to Play & Spectate.
The Forum begins at 12 noon CST. The session is structured to provide good, accurate, and actionable information to help youth sports event planners and managers identify the key learnings, question, and decisions that must be made during the “Great Wait” to safety return to play and spectate.
Each forum in the series runs an hour; with individual presentations by the participants lasting from 5-7 minutes, with 3-4 presenters for each session. A moderator will facilitate the discussion and an audience Q&A for the remainder of the time. The forums are presented via Zoom. The content and subject of each session are attuned to current conditions and information relevant to the sport and entertainment industry.
