But years after Greg devastated his family by getting fired from his church for a secret porn and sex addiction, which came to light via an unintentional email, the couple spent YEARS in counseling to repair the damage. Betrayal, infidelity, shame, pain, secrecy ... this would be difficult for any couple to weather! But today the Olivers are not only stronger, more candid, and entirely transparent about their marriage, they've also become mighty advocates for promoting safe dialog about sex in and out of the church, and help guide churches and ministerial staff on how they can encourage those with sex and porn addiction to come forward and can seek help without shame or judgement. They have also become certified counselors, dedicating their lives to helping others with similar addictions through their organization Awaken.
