George Poteet is a classic car collector and land speed racing legend.

His collection includes the Goodguy’s 2013 Tank’s Hot Rod of the Year, the Goodguys 2013 Optima Batteries Street Machine of the Year, and the 2016 Ridler Award-winner.

As a land racer he has set over a dozen records in his car “Speed Demon”, including the title of World’s Fastest Piston Engine / Wheel Driven car at 481.576 MPH.
