Marta Lafuente is a figurative painter based in Barcelona. She has developed a unique mixed media style and creates memorable and emotional paintings which touch on the everyday encounter and forgotten moments.
In the podcast, she discusses her painting practice and dedication to her instinctive process, her work as a Professor of Drawing at the Universitat de Belles Arts de Barcelona and her award-winning animation films.
Marta has a true artist's soul and expresses her artwork and creative practice in a moving manner, as a complex and emotional process of evolution, mistakes and revisiting the past.
We have represented Marta's work exclusively in Scandinavia since 2017 and are delighted to share new works this Spring on her artist's page on the Nordic Art Agency website.
