Welcome to Golden Boy: An Academy Awards Podcast! Join Moronic Logic monthly as Kenny enlists a rotating co-host from an assemblage of interesting and unique voices to watch every movie nominated for Best Picture in a given year and decide who SHOULD have won the Golden Boy.
We do EVERYTHING in chronological order at Moronic Logic, so Episode 4 takes us to the Fourth Academy Awards, held in 1931, where Golden Boy host Kenny Cahoon and guest host Lantz Hawthorne must decide which of 5 films is the actual Best Picture. This episode features the first movie potentially snubbed by the Academy- City Lights. But was it really snubbed? Join us and join in on the discussion!
