In this first episode, Duke University sophomore Betsy Broaddus performs “Still Breathing”, a monologue about mental illness, and the implications on those who have a loved one who is struggling. After the performance, we sit down with the Referral Coordinator for Duke University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, Lia Gilmore to discuss the piece, the resources available and the importance of broadening the conversation around mental health.
