p.19 TRIAL 19 エクササイズ Interviewer: I'd like to ask you why you became a flight attendant. I had a stereotypical idea that many flight attendants were female. Mr. Mori: To some extent, it's true in Japan, but there are many male flight attendants, especially on western airlines. Interviewer: I didn't know that. I heard it is very hard to get into the profession. Of course, you have to be a good speaker of English. Mr. Mori: Exactly. Not only that, we have to be physically tough. Frequent time differences are not good for us all. I've gotten accustomed to it but it's not easy. Interviewer: I see. So, to be a flight attendant, we have to study English and make our body strong, right? Mr. Mori: That's right. But it's worth it because you can visit a lot of countries. Interviewer: Thank you for your time.
