(English) In this message Ps Adrian talks about how God can use us in these 3 points:

(1 Peter 2:9 NIV) But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

(Acts 6:1 NLT) But as the believers rapidly multiplied, there were rumblings of discontent. The Greek-speaking believers complained about the Hebrew-speaking believers, saying that their widows were being discriminated against in the daily distribution of food.

(Acts 6:2-4 NLT) So the Twelve called a meeting of all the believers. They said, “We apostles should spend our time teaching the word of God, not running a food program. (3) And so, brothers, select seven men who are well respected and are full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will give them this responsibility. (4) Then we apostles can spend our time in prayer and teaching the word.”

(Acts 6:5-7 NLT) Everyone liked this idea, and they chose the following: Stephen (a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit), Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas of Antioch (an earlier convert to the Jewish faith). (6) These seven were presented to the apostles, who prayed for them as they laid their hands on them. (7) So God’s message continued to spread. The number of believers greatly increased in Jerusalem, and many of the Jewish priests were converted, too.

(1 Corinthians 12:4-11 MSG) God’s various gifts are handed out everywhere; but they all originate in God’s Spirit. God’s various ministries are carried out everywhere; but they all originate in God’s Spirit. God’s various expressions of power are in action everywhere; but God himself is behind it all. Each person is given something to do that shows who God is: Everyone gets in on it, everyone benefits. All kinds of things are handed out by the Spirit, and to all kinds of people! The variety is wonderful:

wise counsel

clear understanding

simple trust

healing the sick

miraculous acts

proclamation

distinguishing between spirits

tongues

interpretation of tongues.

All these gifts have a common origin, but are handed out one by one by the one Spirit of God. He decides who gets what, and when.

1. Everyone gets in on it!

2. Everyone benefits

(1 Corinthians 14:1 NIV) Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.

3. Holy Spirit Gives You Gifts
