Naaman, trustworthy and honorable, served the King of Aram as an army captain. 2 Kg. 5:1. We are told he was valiant, however, a leper. Then, Naaman listened to his servant girl, a young captive from Israel. 2 Kg. 5:3. Believing he might be healed, he took much of his wealth, and went to Israel to meet the prophet. In fact, Elisha did not meet him, but his messenger did, and told him to go to the Jordan River and dip in seven times. In anger, Naaman was about to go home, but his officers approached him, and encouraged him to believe and try out what the prophet prescribed. Try trust and obedience. That's the first step to experience God's miracles. From now, I am one who only worships the Lord--is a wonderful confession of faith.
