In this episode we look at the effects of the Vilna and Brody Cheramim. Did these cheramim effectively split Eastern European Jewry into two conflicting camps? Or did it take longer for Eastern European Jewry to break into two conflicting camps. We closely examine the Chassidic Aliyah of 1772, and see how this sheds light on the issue.

We also take a quick look at the historical phenomenon of Chassidus in Jewish History at large. We also look at if R' Schach considered himself a Zionist.
