As a photographer, there have been many chapters in Bev Davies‘ work, but music has always been the thread that held it together. One of her favourite spots to photograph was at Vancouver’s legendary cabaret bar,The Smilin’ Buddha, where she captured the performance of legendary local acts like Vancouver's D.O.A. The bands, the music and the friends made there became the heart of her photo work in the 70’s and 80’s. Band photography is still Bev’s passion. www.flickr.com/photos/bevdavies www.interestingvancouver.com
