Whether you are religious or not there is an extraordinary power in learning to let go. A core teaching from the great masters of old is, to use the old phraseology, "to submit to the will of god". In contemporary, non-sectarian language we might say "letting go" or "allowing the universe to unfold" or "practicing non-resistance".
