Welcome everyone to the TENTH episode of the GEEKING SQUAD PODCAST!

This podcast is hosted by Larry, Megan, and Vito from the Geeking Poetic Podcast Channel, and is centered around the various topics, news items, discussions and tidbits that are shared each week in the GEEKING SQUAD Group on Facebook. In each episode, your hosts choose certain topics that have been shared in the group and discuss them at greater length, adding in their own opinions and humor. The Geeking Squad group is open to anyone who is interested in discussing and sharing info and articles on various geeky subjects such as sci-fi, horror, comedy, action/adventure, cartoons, comic books, music, memes, UFO conspiracies, ancient history and legends and much more! We encourage people to join and post articles or topics that we can bring up on the show, and we'll be uploading a new episode on the first and third Wednesday of every month. The various things mentioned in this episode includes: - Show begins, host introductions, & explanation of the show's theme - Catching up on how we're doing, and our plans for Halloween! - "WHAT'S SHAKIN' BACON?" Segment intro: - We discuss the recent announcement that all Charlie Brown Peanuts specials will no longer air on regular network television. - Vito shows his disinterest but Megan and Larry discuss which Peanuts special is their favorite. - Meg and Vito challenge Larry on whether CBS is really a channel for "old folks". - Discussing how NCIS has released over 400 episodes - Larry submits that PBS is cooler than CBS! - Are there just too many streaming sites nowadays? - Disney Plus announces a sequel to the "WILLOW" movie - Vito is excited about the upcoming miniseries for "THE STAND" - A proposed sequel to 2007's "ACROSS THE UNIVERSE" is rumored to be a thing. - Megan is excited that season three of "LOCKE & KEY" has been green-lit. - Larry is excited about the announcement of future episodes of Netflix's "THE MOVIES THAT MADE US!" - The hosts can't get over how Vito's never seen "Coming To America" and discuss Eddie Murphy's best films. - "PRESCRIBED FILMS PODCAST NETWORK: THE PFPN" commercial segment - "SQUAD TALK" Segment Intro: - We discuss a meme/poll shared in the Geeking Squad Group asking what your recent favorite cartoon reboot/remakes are - Larry puts his co-hosts on the spot and asks them what their choice would be if they could bring back any old cartoon for a reboot... - Vito and Megan choose some forgotten classics from the 1980's and '90's, but Larry laments certain characters and topics that should've been made into cartoons but never were. - The hosts also debate another meme/poll which asked which 1980's cartoon had the best leader? Duke from G.I. Joe? He-Man? Optimus Prime? She-Ra? There were many other choices and they discuss theirs and why they think theirs is the best. - "WHADDAYOU SUGGEST?" Segment Intro: - Vito suggests checking out the latest music from SEVENDUST, available on Spotify and other music platforms. - Megan suggests the Netflix original movie, "ENOLA HOLMES", starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, about the Sherlock Holmes siblings. - Larry suggests checking out the new Netflix original series, "THE HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR", a romantic ghostly haunting story containing much of the cast from "The Haunting Of Hill House" in new roles. - The hosts recommend checking out the podcast DISSONANT HARMONY, a cool show hosted by Zack Uidl and Seth Morris where they discuss music and other topics, and recently interviewed Larry and Vito along with their band, Prophecy Productions recording artists NOVEMBERS DOOM. - Show sign off and farewell.
