World War II is over, and like the rest of the country, Newcastle United are rebuilding. Paul Joannou and Matt Ketchell are joined this week by historian and keen Newcastle United fan Stephen Allott with the trio picking up in 1946.
During this period the club record their biggest ever win (13-0 v Newport County), and unearth players capable of scoring by the boatload. As ever though, things aren't straightforward with a tricky promotion campaign preceded by player revolt!
