In this episode, Ed talks to someone he's been wanting to chat to for a very long time... Iain White!
Iain has huge experience in the estate agency field, and describes himself as a 'thoroughbred estate agent', starting his career as an estate agent in 1987.
From working in the entrepreneurial side of estate agency, building up a business with Romans, to the more corporate side and becoming a subsidiary MD at Countrywide. This experience has given Iain the chance to see both sides of how it all works... and he confirms that they are both very different. He also talks about various threats to the industry and how those working in it have changed over the decades - it's not all good news.
Now Iain works with a number of independent agents, mentoring owners and helping grow their businesses. Iain is also a key member of the 'Innovation Collaboration Group' - bringing tested and 'best in class' proptech solutions to agents.
