Amy Wright sits down for a one-on-one conversation with Nashville-based artist Joshua Hedley. A recent signee to New West Records, Hedley is an ace fiddle player, guitarist, and country music singer-songwriter. He’s devoted his entire life to the study of country and western music, really, a life which he and Amy discuss in detail this hour.
They also chat a great deal about his debut album for New West, Neon Blue, a record with 90s Country influences but a discernably tasteful and modern production. We fell in love with Hedley’s sound after the release of his debut LP, Mr. Jukebox, which we named one of the best records of 2018, and we think his trajectory as an artist is upward and bright.
