Found a great reminder, and again, it was right when I needed it. I didn’t scroll too far when I saw this from Andrew Taylor (@andrewtaylor09) where he reminded me (and all of us) that “All you can control in life is your effort and your attitude. Effort is how hard you try. Attitude is how you respond.” This is attributed to many people, but he made the connection from Coach Don Meyer and the #MeyerMonday message. - Doug Dreyer/AP. I saw it when I needed it. Now remember, I’ve mentioned this idea many times on this podcast and throughout my life to my students and players. But once again, as I reminded my students and players all the time - the things I share with them, I also need those same reminders. The reminding never stops because we never stop being human and living our lives the best way we can. Some of those times means we struggle and need these lessons whispered in our ear along with then actually implementing them into our lives. I am doing that now. How about you? Thanks for listening.
