Have you ever heard about the Law of Attraction? Essentially, it’s the idea that you get what you expect to get in life. If you see things as glass-half-empty, that’s how you’ll continue to see things. But if we put positive energy out there, good things will come our way. You may be skeptical now, but there’s a lot to be gained from the ideas and habits behind the Law of Attraction. To learn more, we spoke with Andrew Kap, the author of The Last Law of Attraction Book You’ll Ever Need to Read. He shared some intriguing insights and methods you can put into action today.

Andrew is the author of the best-selling book, The Last Law of Attraction Book You’ll Ever Need To Read. His book offers readers a never-before-seen understanding of the topic — that no other book has ever been able to do — by going the extra mile of finally addressing WHY people who get excited about trying it still can’t manage to get in the habit of using these methods for just five minutes a day.

Starting with the basics, Andrew explains what exactly the Law of Attraction is. Is it the power of visualizing the future you want? Is it about telling yourself affirmations to pump up your confidence? Andrew describes what it is, how it works, and the different ways you can implement it in your life. It largely comes down to energy: you get what you put into the world or what you expect to get.

Andrew wasn’t always a believer in the Law of Attraction, but he was interested in pursuing it. After a downward spiral that led to a rock bottom week – Andrew lost his business and girlfriend within a matter of days! – the Law of Attraction helped him reclaim his life. If you want to turn your own life around, keep reading. (Or at least check out the podcast above!)

You may still be skeptical, and that’s okay. People who don’t really care about this concept can still benefit from what it teaches. Andrew explains why this is, though cautions that results may vary more when your efforts aren’t as concentrated or genuine.

Andrew talks about the importance of gratitude to anchor your mindset for automatic success. He also describes his time lapse method. Listen to the podcast to learn more about it, but the gist is that you should write down five things each from your past, present, and future that you’re grateful for. Write them all in present tense and mix them up. Doing this helps you gain things in the future, bringing you more happiness and things to be grateful for.

A person’s ego can get in the way of this, though. Why might our ego actually be keeping us from succeeding with the Law of Attraction? As Andrew describes, the ego can be very negative. This kills the positive energy that we need for the Law of Attraction to truly work.

The Law of Attraction is powerful, even if you don’t fully believe in it. But putting some of the above ideas into practice can reap great benefits, from the physical (like better sleepand feeling calmer overall) to those events you want to manifest.
