Q Threadz is a sliding scale, upcycled clothing store but it has grown to be so much more than that. Q Threadz was founded on the values of community, sustainability, and accessibility. Their vision is to help everyone feel empowered in their expression of self in an environmentally sustainable way.
Although anyone is welcome to shop with them (and they hope you do), Q Threadz launched with the intention of building a safer space for members of the LGBTQ2S+ community to find clothing and gender-affirming accessories that uplift you at affordable prices.
A project that holds great space in their hearts is the Pay What You Can Binder program. Through this program, folks are able to donate their gently used binders or compression vests to Q Threadz can get them into the hands of someone who needs them. These items are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis to individuals through Q Threadz’s Instagram shop to make sure affordability is not an obstacle for people.
Supporting their community is the framework of Q Threadz. They donate a percentage of every item sold to an LGBTQ2S+ organization they believe in at the end of every month. The community of Q Threadz is growing every day and they are incredibly grateful for the generosity, support and connection that it is bringing into their lives and the lives of others.
