On Tuesday 29 June 2021, we held the first "World According To Women", a forum for the women I have interviewed for this podcast to come together and go deeper on the issues, observations and concerns I am hearing from so many of them.
For this event, Meredith Marshall and Camilla Borrevik shared their observations on “Better conversations: How we might communicate to bring out the best in us".
Meredith talked about how she changed communication styles in one of the biggest financial organisations in the US and Camilla talked about her work as a Norwegian anthropologist who works with small Pacific Island states on climate change and how the Fijian leadership at COP23 changed the way people were communicating.
Maria Laura Baccarini connected us all on a completely different level when she sang from the prologue of her new show, "Atalante".
The theme of "better conversations" was exactly the right place to start. I hope you enjoy this exploration into what it means to communicate in a way that is profoundly human.
