The Reds were left to rue their decision to sell Lovren last summer but, after a horrendous run of injuries, the centre-back situation is looking a lot healthier. But would that change if Nat Phillips chooses to leave?
However, is another defensive position more of a concern? If Neco Williams asks to go and is sold for £10m it would leave Liverpool with just Trent Alexander-Arnold as their sole senior right-back.
