ADHD is a neurodivergent term that is the acronym for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. According to the Centers for Disease Control over 6 million young people between the ages of 2-17 have been diagnosed with ADHD. It is widely believed that millions of adults have the disorder but go undiagnosed. Unfortunately many kids are labeled as lazy because care givers aren't well versed on the symptoms. There is also much controversy in our society on whether Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is over diagnosed.
