Grandpa Hill’s Stories are told by Grandpa Hill, usually with a live audience of one or more of his twenty two grand children. Each story is based on his memory of what truly happened to him. Marshmallow and his friend Gorf, often review the story from their perspectives as a raccoon and a frog. They hope that by them talking about the story it will help the listeners, young and old, to talk to each other about their thoughts and experiences. Lessons are learned, as we laugh (or cry) and lis ...

2 Generations of Bullsh*t Inspired by my drive to keep record of the stories about my grandfather's life, those stories turned into a new project. The “third-generation rule” tells us that 70% of affluent families will have lost their wealth by the third generation. As much as I want my grandkids to fall into the 30% of that statistic, there’s something I want even more… Way more important than wealth, I want my grandkids to inherit a legacy of faith & love. This podcast was born because I want my grandkids to hear the journey that their grandma & I took to build that legacy.

I’m a modern day grandpa with 7 wonderful grandchildren. We are blended and beautiful. I'm a licensed mental health professional and I’m here to empower you to achieve that great relationship, achieve that dream goal. My gift is empowering people in a low key fashion. My broadcasts come from my front porch, my pick up truck or roof tops in Wisconsin. More about that later let’s travel to beautiful new places in our lives..

My grandpa was an engineer at Detroit's WJR radio beginning in 1943. He kept what was considered ''trash'' at the time: the on-air master transcription discs of the radio shows that he liked. He also cut a lot of discs for his own use. I've inherited his collection of over 250 discs and am digitizing and podcasting them. If he were alive today, these are the things that would be on his iPod.

Welcome to an ongoing discussion between a grandfather and grandson about living life well. I'm Ryan Holdeman and this is my grandpa. He's 95 years old and has spent his entire adult life courageously asking questions. He asks questions to learn and to challenge with a heart of joy and love. At 21 years old, he became a pastor of a Mennonite church. This would begin a long and winding road with stops as a husband, a father, in the Methodist church, as head of probation, and back into the pas ...
